Ta-Da! 💖 I am BACK IN ACTION! 😘⁣⁣⁣ 🤗 ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ I took a break from work for over a year because my health took a major downhill spiral at the start of 2017 💖⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ I never thought that at my age I would find myself sitting across an Oncologist & diagnosed with something I'd never heard of before: Severe Chronic Neutropenia.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ This was after a year long battle with my health that started with unexplained vitamin deficiencies, anemia, a slipped disc which took months to diagnose because of my many symptoms at once ... ankle tendinitis in both feet, hip tendinitis, then came 24/7 debilitating nausea & the inability to eat from severe acid reflux, which an endoscopy revealed to actually be bile in my stomach 6 months later 😳⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ It was a lot, at once. It was physically painful to say the least, but the harder part was losing my ability to work, my social life, (to walk, to eat), not having a "home" to go back to while I was sick, and trying to make a long distance relationship work despite Dr's telling me that I had to stop travelling. The same week I started undergoing intense cancer testing & ordered a bone marrow aspiration to rule out leukemia, I also experienced the most disturbing & horrific betrayel in my life 💔⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ ... Despite my best efforts to stay strong & positive through it all, I ultimately sank into deep major Depression. Something I have battled with since childhood. I'm opening up about it because mental health is something I strive to bring more awareness to 💖⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Maybe it was the universe telling me that I needed to slow down & rest, maybe it was karmic debt I needed to pay, maybe it was all a test to prepare me for what is to come. Whatever it all was, it changed my life and I'll never be the same. It's the best thing to have ever happened to me,⁣⁣⁣ and I got a second chance at life! 🙇‍♀️⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ I want to thank all of you who have stuck with me although I've been inactive on here! 💖 This is for all the fearless badass women out there who grind & fight & never give up! 💖💪

I hadn't even heard of it (at the time living in California) & only saw it via Google search on the last day. I had just quit my job in Tech to pursue modelling, so I had my mom snap pics on my iPhone in my room before she headed out to work. I thought, "what the heck, you hear back or not, at least submit." Next thing I knew, I was called back for final casting in Singapore... & my life has never been the same. It was the best decision I ever made. Never give up on your dreams, or let people tell you what you are or are not capable of. I was told to stop modelling after I graduated from UCLA... & I listened. But then my heart ached & I couldn't deny my destiny or live with the regret of not having at least tried ❤️❤️❤️ So go take the chances you're scared to take! Make the life you always dreamed of! Take it from me, it's never too late, it's always just the beginning ❤️❤️❤️
